Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using NeetJob.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using NeetJob ("the Platform", "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform.

These terms apply to all users of NeetJob, including visitors, registered users, and subscribers.

2. Description of Service

NeetJob is an automated job aggregation and application assistance platform that:

  • Aggregates publicly listed job postings from Zimbabwean job boards
  • Provides AI-powered tools for CV building, cover letter generation, and job matching
  • Offers an application pipeline tracking system
  • Sends email notifications for new job matches

The service is provided "as is" and is operated as a student project / early-stage platform. Features may change, be added, or be removed without prior notice.

3. User Accounts & Responsibilities

To use most features of NeetJob, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your account credentials secure and confidential
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Providing accurate information when registering
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

You must not use the platform to:

  • Send unsolicited emails or spam to employers
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the system or other users' data
  • Use the application email feature to send emails to addresses not associated with legitimate job listings
  • Overload or abuse the platform's API endpoints
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the platform itself
  • Impersonate another person or entity

4. Subscriptions & Billing

NeetJob offers three subscription tiers: Free, Pro ($3/month), and Premium ($12/month).

  • The Free plan is provided at no charge and has no time limit.
  • Paid plans are billed monthly. Payment arrangements are made directly with the platform operator.
  • We accept EcoCash, InnBucks, and bank transfer for Zimbabwean users.
  • Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. No refunds are provided for partial months already paid.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.

5. AI-Generated Content

NeetJob uses Google Gemini AI to generate cover letters, match scores, and interview preparation materials. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content may not be perfect and should be reviewed before use
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of any AI-generated content you send to employers
  • The AI match score is a guide, not a guarantee of interview success

6. Job Listing Data

Job listings displayed on NeetJob are scraped from publicly available sources. We make no guarantee of:

  • The accuracy, completeness, or currency of any job listing
  • The legitimacy of any employer or job posting
  • The availability of any listed position

Always verify job listings independently before applying. NeetJob is not responsible for outcomes of job applications made through or inspired by the platform.

7. Intellectual Property

The NeetJob platform, its design, code, and original content are the intellectual property of Marlvin Basera. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the platform without written permission.

Your CV data, personal information, and files remain your property at all times.

8. Limitation of Liability

NeetJob is a student project operated on a best-effort basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
  • Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service without prior notice. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. Significant changes will be communicated to registered users via email.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zimbabwe. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Zimbabwean courts.
