Hi, I'm Marlvin Basera - a Digital Solutions Architect and Marketing Technologist from Zimbabwe. I built NeetJob because I got tired of manually checking five different job boards every morning, missing opportunities, and spending hours crafting the same cover letters.

So I automated the whole process. What started as a personal script became a full platform - with AI matching, a CV builder, email alerts, and an application tracker - built for every Zimbabwean job seeker who deserves a smarter, faster way to find work.

Job seekers in Zimbabwe spend hours daily checking multiple job boards manually, often missing opportunities because they weren't refreshing at the right time.

The Solution

Built as part of a Cybersecurity & Full-Stack Development certification at Personal Project - a platform that automates the entire process: scraping, matching, applying, and tracking.

Personal Project Context

NeetJob was designed and built from scratch as a personal project to solve the real job hunting problems faced in Zimbabwe. It is not backed by a company - it is the work of one developer committed to solving a real problem.

The system includes modern security features including JWT authentication, Firebase Admin SDK, rate limiting, SSRF protection, audit logging,and AI integration - all built and secured by hand.

All data is handled responsibly. No personal data is sold or shared.
